I'm a journalist with over 10 years of experience, since 2019 serving as a UK and international affairs correspondent for Gazeta Wyborcza, Poland's largest legacy-type newspaper. In a myriad of different ways, I have been involved with Wyborcza since 2014.
Before moving to the UK, I worked as a journalist in Poland. In 2010 I got my first serious job in the media industry, a position of a radio producer and assistant to Monika Olejnik, one of the most incredible professionals in Polish journalism. In 2016, I became a co-founder and deputy editor-in-chief at OKO.press, a unique NGO-run fact-checking outlet financed in full with voluntary donations from the readership. I was twice awarded for my journalistic work in Poland.
English is my favourite language of all, so I try to forge my path in this language as well. In 2019, I briefly worked for The Oxford Times as a feature writer and theatre reviewer, and for The Oxford Mail as its community reporter. From time to time, I write in English about politics, international affairs and culture.
Western ‘Rich First’ Vaccination Strategy Will Increase Global COVID-19 Death Toll (The Geopolitcs)
“If you took [the] two billion doses we have agreed to procure, and distributed them among the 50 highest-income countries, you would reduce deaths around 31 per cent; if you distributed across countries equitably, you get to a little over 60 per cent of death reduction”, Dr Seth Berkley, head of Gavi, the Global Vaccine Alliance, told the BBC HARDtalk programme.

Is Putin’s Russia Seeking a New Balance Between China and the West? (The Diplomat)
"The COVID-19 pandemic has exacerbated all the problems Moscow has with its relationship with Beijing to such an extent that recently Russia has often been described as being slowly devoured by its economically superior ally. It would be one thing for Moscow to acknowledge that China is rather a threat than an ally. But to act on that would be an altogether different story. Nevertheless, such a precedent exists."
